This is Customer Service Week, a week to celebrate extraordinary customer service.  Last night I was especially grateful to a customer service representative who solved a problem for me in minutes over the phone.  Giving customers an extraordinary experience is the lifeblood of any successful organization.

(For other quotes, see the tab at the top of this page or try my favorite Zig Ziglar quotes, Self-Control quotes, General Norman Schwarzkopf Leadership quotes.)

Nice. Thank you for adding that one.

Hey Skip, great great quotes. M Cuban one I love because it has a lot to do with product differentiation which I think is a key component of the sales process. R Staubach’s one I personally identify with today as I was up at 3am for some reason instead of my normal 5 and ABSOLUTELY nothing could disturb me, not even the guy delivering the paper bc he was not up! lol B Franklin’s is about the enemy of all success… ACTION. Taking a screenshot of this and will put it on my desktop to remind me.

Funny, I am so used to your content, your interviews, your writing style and enjoy your blog so much as you know, however it’s great when you mix it up like this and take the content from others and pop it in a post. You are a well-researched man my friend! Always a great reminder that without our customers, our clients, our audience, our fans … we sit there with product or service in hand yet no one is there to accept it! :-)

    Best-MJ

Hi Skip, I tell Qantas Customer Service every single time how they are the best customer service I regularly have the pleasure to deal with. Don’t forget the positive feedback!

Maureen, I appreciate you leaving a comment. Yes, positive feedback can do wonders for morale for the people who put in the hours everyday serving others. And here’s to Qantas!
      Have a good week!

These quotes are a great reminder of the core importance of serving your customers. Another quote I often use comes from Linda Goldzimer: “Would you do business with you?”

      Really like that one!

I love the quotes Skip. As a service provider within a major company, I try to remind myself and my team of the same attitudes. We serve internal customers, but sometimes that is lost on our organization. Thanks for promoting customer service.
